My town/area is so funny. It's sleeting and soon to be snowing and everybody freaks out and closes. However...given that it was about 60-70 degrees yesterday before noon and the same weather most of the time before that...it's no real surprise. People don't know how to drive here.

Unfortunately my mom is going to work. :( I hope she gets there okay.

Anyway, 7:30 in the morning. My school is canceled. It's 27 degrees. I'm going back to sleep.

Sweet dreams; I'm about to go do the same thing myself. *grins* Yay for sleep.

Woo!

It's like uber snowing (for us) right now and my mom made me call in to work and he said I could miss. I'm kinda sad for him because I don't think anybody's going to come to the store if they freak out as much as my mom does.

Lucky! It's in the 20's here, too. Ice everywhere. Our car died when Chris was almost out of the apartment so we had to call his brother to help push it with his own car out of the way, since we couldn't push it. It was funny. But now I'm awake and it sucks.

Eeep :( That sucks.

Hope the car gets repaired and sleep is had.

Do the people drive as insanely as they do (more so than usual) up here when it snows?

Haha, you Texans are the biggest wimps ever.

When it's 27, I run to the mailbox in a -windbreaker-. If they canceled school here when it was 27.... well. I'd never have school, LOL.

*L* And I would agree with you. But Texas is weird like that. We're like Florida with the capability to get winter weather. We rarely get it, and usually only maybe, if most, two or three days per year, and usually on alternate years, and when we do we're not used to it so people freak out.

That was the longest run on sentence. *L*

Anyway, so yeah...we're wimps *L* During most of that 27 degrees though, it's been sleeting or snowing. It's awesome.

I like the snow, myself. As long as I'm not in it.

(Biggest wimp of all, I am :D )

I'll admit that we're pathetic when it's cold, but in all fairness... How would you handle having to stay outside in 114 degree weather?

(No, I do not know you. I'm just being nosy and butting in while procrastinating doing my homework.)
