Good Night, Bad Morning
19/9/08 08:07I went to the fair with my parents and my sister, her husband, and my two nephews last night. I didn't ride any rides but we did walk the fair grounds. It was the usual atmosphere: bright lights, greasy food, long lines, people everywhere. It was fun.
We all bought some food and spent some time sharing it between us. Then my mom and I played some carnival games and I got a few prizes.
I got home, took a shower, and then realized...I couldn't find my phone. I looked everywhere, even dumping the entire contents of my purse onto the couch (to the delight of my cats). I have no other means of calling anyone.
The next morning, I got ready, the usual routine, planning on calling my mother when I got to work. I left the house, trying to keep the cats from getting out the door. It was then I discovered that I had locked my keys in my apartment. Everything is on there: home keys, car keys, and work keys.
Luckily, I had a set of car keys from when I'd locked myself out of my car and used those to drive to work where I asked someone to let me into my office.
And that was my morning night. My mom does have a key and hopefully she can get in to get me my keys, and I have a vague idea where my phone is. Get those back and it'll be good.
