First Day of Class
27/8/07 15:09I woke up at like 5 am because I took a sleeping pill the night before and I went to bed at like 10:30. Of course, I went back to bed and woke up at 6:30. Anyway, so I get up and lounge around until about 8:13 until I head off to school.
The place is packed (well duh). The Texas sun is also very high and I made the mistake of wearing 3/4th sleeves. I go to my first class at 10 am which is in the new building. It's a law class for Media Law. Interesting stuff.
Teacher likes me cause I had him before and he liked me then. I have him for both my classes so it's good. I talk a lot and I back up my argument so I think he likes that.
I made the mistake of carrying a shoulder bag with my books in it...nope. Bad idea.
So I went back to my car after my first class to get my backpack. Works fine in theory until I decide I wanna sell back my books from last semester. I carry those in my hand...and end up waiting 30 minutes for someone to help me.
Of course, it's my friend's friend so yay!
I get $60ish bucks for the likely $200 I plopped down. C'est la vie.
Then I go to my News Writing lab with the same teacher and we talk about reporters and spelling and Sofa Kings and stuff.
Now I'm at work and my back hurts. But I have my water and I'm in a cool space. Works for me.
Oh yeah! And my school got a Quiznos. I am pleased.
No bread bowls, though. :( I'd so buy those all day.
Hi Crystal! How was yours and Brian's and Kelly's days?
