I don't understand. Why me?

My computer has died and I have an assignment due. I'm on my mom's.

All my stuff is probably gone. My music is gone, photoshop is gone...Why? Why me? What the FUCK did I do to the universe?

Trust me, been there, done that, nearly lost a job over it. Computers suck, they do this at the worst possible times ON PURPOSE, I'm convinced.

Your computer's possibly salvageable. Many things can go wrong. If it's the memory chips or the CPU, it should be recoverable. If it's the Hard Drive, well... hopefully it's not.

Really have become a religious nut about BACKING UP data after I've had that sort of thing happen to me a few times. But I'm sorry it's happened to ya hon.

Actually, I just had a harddrive recovery thing that I bought online.
Yes, its not cheap, $100+, but I was able to get all my stuff back with it.
So, it was worth it to me to buy it.
I think it was www.runtime.com selling "GetMyDataBack" for NFTS disks.
