I bought the Palm Pre from Sprint on Sunday. Here is my review:

Pros: It does everything...internet, text, phone, calendar. It's a touch screen. It has TV on it. Top of the line, yadda yadda yadda. I like it okay so far.

Cons: Ringer is not loud at all. I can't hear the phone ring and I use my phone for an alarm and barely woke up. Phone is prone to turning off after awhile and it has a long boot up time when you turn it back on. I've had to turn it back on three times while texting my mother.

Is it worth the money? I've yet to see. But I will find out. I should, I spent $300 on it.

I went to the fair with my parents and my sister, her husband, and my two nephews last night. I didn't ride any rides but we did walk the fair grounds. It was the usual atmosphere: bright lights, greasy food, long lines, people everywhere. It was fun.

We all bought some food and spent some time sharing it between us. Then my mom and I played some carnival games and I got a few prizes.

I got home, took a shower, and then realized...I couldn't find my phone. I looked everywhere, even dumping the entire contents of my purse onto the couch (to the delight of my cats). I have no other means of calling anyone.

The next morning, I got ready, the usual routine, planning on calling my mother when I got to work. I left the house, trying to keep the cats from getting out the door. It was then I discovered that I had locked my keys in my apartment. Everything is on there: home keys, car keys, and work keys.

Luckily, I had a set of car keys from when I'd locked myself out of my car and used those to drive to work where I asked someone to let me into my office.

And that was my morning night. My mom does have a key and hopefully she can get in to get me my keys, and I have a vague idea where my phone is. Get those back and it'll be good.
